Meet the Business Owner: Dave Williams Our company started 32 years ago out of a combination of desperation and serious motivation. In 1977, I married my childhood sweetheart and supported our family working as a painter. Not long after, I decided I would be better off running my own company. Coincidentally, the day I broke the news was the day my wife told me we were expecting our first child. Some may have considered this bad timing, but in fact it was the motivation I needed to make this venture work. I was the painter and she was the bookkeeper. And the two of us made up the team of Williams Professional Painting.
