Michael Albarelli

I called Michael to snake our kitchen sink which was clogged. We had used him for minor jobs in the past, which he did, sometimes requesting cash payment. When he saw the configuration of pipes under my sink he immediately began complaining about it, with quite an attitude. Nevertheless, he took the pipe off and attempted to snake it. We needed access to my neighbor's house, which shares a common drain, but the key she left with me did not work. He attempted to put the pipe back together, but it was leaking into a bucket. The pipe had not leaked before, but he insisted that the pipe was already broken; he did not break it. He started to leave and I asked him what we were supposed to do with a broken and leaking pipe, plus the clogged drain. He shrugged and said sarcastically, "Get a new kitchen." Later he said "Call the person who installed your sink." He was rude, unhelpful, and clearly could have cared less about the predicament we were in. I believe that he also left metal in the garbage disposal, which damaged it. He left a dirty mess under the sink and on the floor. We had to call another plumber, pay for the drain snake, and pay to have the pipe replaced. That plumber said our garbage disposal has a pinhole leak. Both snaking and getting the pipe replaced were relatively quick jobs for All Plumbing, Inc. After this experienceI I would never recommend Michael to neighbors, all of us prone to plumbing issues in our Fairlington homes.

Mike is my 'go to' plumber. I have used him for several services and each time he was professional, easy to work with and provided good service. The last time I used him was for an emergency and he made sure my problem was taken care of.

I've used Mike for many projects (replacement of broken outside faucets; toilet & faucet repairs; sump pump replacement; installation of basement sink, faucet & drain pump) and he has always done an exceptional job. I have referred him to a number of friends who have also been satisfied with his work. I will continue to use him as my "go to" plumber.

I hired Mike Albarelli to replace an outside faucet (which I'm happy with) and replace hardware in an "old" toilet in the basement as it was "leaking water" occasionally. Mike said the toilet needed a flapper, however, he didn’t have the correct one when he came over and said he would get it and return the following day. Meanwhile, he charged me for both the faucet and the toilet and I paid him for both pieces of work. We were both busy for the next week, but we finally set up a date/time ~ he texted shortly before he was suppose to be at my house to say his truck broke down in Front Royal and then texted within minutes and said he was in an ATV accident. We set up a new date/time. I was delayed @ a doctor's appt. so texted and phoned him an hour before the appt., but he didn't respond. I was less than 9 minutes late in getting home and he had been here and left the flapper on the porch! I texted him to let him know it did me no good unless it was installed in the toilet. The next time I heard from him (well over a week later), he was knocking on my front door the morning of July 4th and said he was coming unannounced. I opened the door, he barged in, went to the basement, yanked the flapper out and threw it behind him onto a hamper, water spraying. I asked him why he wasn't replacing the entire unit and he said I just need to buy a new toilet, they don't make parts for this toilet, etc. And, left without further conversation. He was always unprofessional and in this case extremely ignorant, rude and discourteous. I wouldn't use him again for anything. Also, I am tired of these people that free-lance and don't pay taxes ~ it is my fault for not insisting on a receipt.
