Jonathan was given a down payment,he showed for the first 2 days,then he texted us on friday morning asking us to call him, when I called he told us he had gotten drunk at a bar the night before and ran into a pole or something and was picked up by the police and had just been bailed out not long before we spoke.He went on to say his truck was repoed as a result of drinking and driving ,HE WENT ON TO ASKED US TO GIVE HIM SOME OF THE NEXT ROUND OF PAYMENT TO GET HIS TRUCK OUT THE POUND.HE HADNT FINISHED THE WORK WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR.HE THEN TOLD ME NOT TO WORRY AND THAT HE WOULD STILL FINISH THE WORK AND HE WAS WAITING FOT HIS NIECE TO GIVE HIM A RIDE TO US SO HE COULD DO SOME WORK.WE NEVER HEARD BACK.I TEXT AND CALLED SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE.The next monday I asked if he was comming via text,no response still.we pretty much knew he had ripped us off at that point.He left a big mess all over our newley installed floors,he ripped up the flooring in another room and left the stuff in the hallway altho he said he will be carrying everything away.He left everything undone.I had to file a police report.Very disapointing to say the least,the home owner is a disabled vet and I am discusted at the treatment.

Johnathan, you know it is not a discrepancy over the square footage. You received payment for the full amount. You haven't responded to my emails or even offered an apology to the fact that we were unhappy with the finished product. I offered you a chance to make it right and you didn't. To say you took the trash our or sprayed closets ceilings my husband dry walled does not compensate for the shoddy workmanship on the tray ceiling or the kitchen. Nor does it excuse the cigarette butts and redbull cans you left, or the drips and splatters of paint, or the mess because you didn't tape/prep efficiently. You were eager to get the job but not so much in doing it correctly. A true craftsman would have recognized his own errors. I only posted the above review so others would have a more realistic expectation of your limited expertise. I wish you good luck.

We wanted to give an opportunity as he presented himself well even though we knew he was a one-man show. Turns out, he is a jobber and not a craftsman or professional, though he talked the talk. He might do well on small, inconsequential jobs but not for drywall repair and paint. We gave him an opportunity to do the right thing by correcting his mistakes and he did not step up to the plate. He was gone with the wind as he rushed to get ours completed and rush off to the next paying job. We are out a sizable chunk of money for inferior/shoddy work. We now have to spend more money to fix what he could not. I would advise extreme caution in the jobs you might choose to hire him for, if at all.

J&J did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for handyman services. He contacted me quickly and offered a free quote. He was also able to quickly begin working on my projects. I will use their service again.
