Planning for the Future

Jan 2014

Had a great opportunity to help our client remodel her bathroom for her later years. Her major request were (from picture left to right) to convert her tub into a shower & move the toilet approximately 10" to the right (it was only an inch or so away from the tub). These two items required us to open up the subfloors to re-position the new shower drain, and to move the ceramic piece. We essentially gutted the 1970's bathroom and installed new wall & ceiling drywall, tile, a much taller vanity (36"), new exhaust fan, and comfort-height (taller) toilet. We removed a non-load bearing wall which triggered additional electrical work on top of installing GFCI outlets.

It's a Process

Jan 2014

The clients condominiums were under renovation (new roof, siding, etc) and somehow the roof leaked so bad that the water damaged all the drywall (sheetrock). We were referred to this client by one of her customers. We removed all the drywall, installed new drywall, applied compound, then sanded, next day more compound, more sanding, primed and painted on the third day. Yes, it's a process.

Rolling On the River

Jan 2014

It was difficult not to enjoy a couple of days by the Chattahoochee River, even though we were spraying the stain instead of rolling it. The main & small deck had managed to get away from the client and were in a desperate need for a rigorous cleaning before applying stain. As you scroll through the pictures, and in addition to providing cover to the dwelling and plants, you'll see us pressure washing, scrubbing, then sanding before before applying the stain on day two. We were also asked to stain some of their outdoor furniture.

Double Down

Jan 2014

The homeowners wanted to take their existing 10x16 standard pattern deck and enhance it to a 20x16 angled (45 degree), plus add steps running along its perimeter. One major issue we had to address was having to add 2x8 joists underneath the wall of the enclosed area as it was exactly on the edge where we had to cut the existing deck boards in order to establish the new pattern. This was a two day project.

Nice Deck Incredible View

Jan 2014

Here we are on the river, first of three jobs, staining a deck. The client wanted to stain the deck in accordance with the home owners association guidelines. Nice deck with a great view, and in pretty good condition.

Courting the Courtyard

Jul 2014

We we re in Smyrna tearing down and building a new fence in this nice condo. Nice courtyard, nicer client. One thing that surprised was the neighboring fence fully nailed to our clients fence. Yes, the neighbor did not install any posts on the one side. When we pried it off it literally just fell off.
