I started service with Brandon last year or so. We started with snow removal and then added mowing. At first, it was good (albeit strange). He started sending invoices after every service, which was absolutely confusing and much more complicated than it needed to be. His secretary, Courtney, said that she had been working with him to send invoices monthly and he was resistant. Courtney was a great help in getting services scheduled on a day that worked for my unique schedule and she gave me her personal cell phone number to refer to as Brandon himself will not return calls with any consistency. This season, he plowed four times, which was two times more than necessary. His invoices are back to being sent all the time, none of them ever adding up to the total due nor reflecting payments made. The I was sent an invoice for $300 for 4 snow removal services. Even at the $65/per plow (we had agreed on $50) that still only adds up to $260. Where did the $300 come from? I have sent emails, called, texts, and Facebook messages. All he does is resend the same invoices. I received one voicemail from him in response to mine saying that he would resend.. when I asked him to review these. He stated that "his system can show when I open the invoices and that he has called and sent multiple emails." No. First of all, gmail shows a snapshot- and I can pull the attachment without going to the payment site. So I had the invoice details without needing to open the website. Finally, on May 8, I got a hold of him to cancel services and he agreed to send one last invoice with all charges. I paid that ($371.55) and now I am getting more invoices for charges that were supposed to be included in that amount. Also, the above amount includes all these snow removal charges, does not reflect accurate bookkeeping, does not include my previous payment. I literally could not get basic math explained to him, so I just paid it. I should not have. Technically, he owes me $150... He is rude when he communicates, does not follow up with his customers. After reading the other reviews, I should also add that he would text me late at night (saying he was looking for friends), liked me on two dating apps, attempted to add me on my personal Facebook, and has a child endangerment charge. On his website, the reviews stop in 2020 and even reviewed himself... I will never see a refund or an apology- so right now, I just want this dishonest creep to leave me alone.

I called Pitts after being strung along by another tree service on removal of the second of two large Green Ash trees on my residential lot in Boone, IA. The previous company took a bid on two trees, dropped the easier one at the front of the house and started making excuses and stalling on the more difficult tree. Pitts agreed to take out the remaining tree for approximately the same cost. They put us on the schedule within a week and worked a 12 hour day to get the job done. Pitts' crew were safe and methodical, preventing any damage to the two garages and houses under the canopy of that huge dead Ash. Clean up was detailed, including the roofs of the garages, and their team was professional in all respects. We were thrilled with the results and no longer dread every ice storm or strong wind taking down a limb and risking damage to our home. Thanks for the peace of mind, Pitts!

It has rained in our area for days and I knew how busy all lawn care companies would be today, but I called to see if they could help mow my yard since my back had gone out and I couldn't. As busy as they are, they said they could help me today. They came out and did a wonderful job, even edged and trimmed and all at a good price! Thank you Pitts Lawn and Tree Service!
