Hands with a Mission

I needed an office desk for my home office so I found at: https://porch.com/apopka-fl/remodeling-contractors/hands-with-a-mission/pp Michael L Lindhartsen (aka Mike Belmonte Lindhartsen) of Hands with Mission LLC of 1808 Dunn Cove Dr Apopka, FL 32703. He (Michael L Lindhartsen ) came to my home office in Orlando and offered to make the office table furniture set for $ 1700 with an initial deposit of $ 850 which he convinced me that I should write it in the name of his wife Mary Lindhartsen. Trusting the Positive review on Porch I issued the check on March 11th. Weeks passed by and I kept calling and texting him with the update on my order. After 3 weeks of no good answer he informed that his mother in law has passed away and he is in Chicago meeting with the lawyers to settle her estate. Thereafter he blocked my phone and it became impossible to contact him. I have my brother joseph whom he met when at my home offi9ce call him from his Cell phone on April 17th. More than one month since Mary Lindhartsen cashed the check. He was reluctant to answer the phone. Joseph asked him if he has bought anything on my project. He responded that he has bought nothing and he has done no work as he is in Chicago busy with lawyers bla bla. When he spoke with Joseph; there was no noise and no one in the background like he was sitting by himself with no family members around as he had contested. Suspecting the scam Joseph and myself immediately informed him that as he has done no job. He should Stop and refund in full immediately. He didn’t expect a call from Joseph or from me seeking refund. He responded by text that he has done lot of work and bought glass and made calls that he will only refund a small portion of the $850. His http://handswithamissionllc.com/ is down and his listed address cannot be located on Google. He has disappeared by defrauding me the1808 Dunn Cove Dr Apopka, FL 32703 is an empty lot. Plus, Hands with Mission is not listed on SunBizOrg. He has been a fraud a scam a thug from get go. He knew that he had no LLC no address no bank account. He used his wife or his sister name to defraud me. I will proceed forth now with the Police as what he did is criminal theft, plus FL State Attorney and Orange County Consumers affairs and BBB against him and Mary who is the front person to cash check for Michael (Mike) L Lindhartsen. Once I contacted him about the project he kept calling pursuing me to get the job but once Mary cashed the checked he disappeared. PS. I hold Porch.com responsible for posting his fake review.

Mike was deliberate and methodical with his work on our home, offering very reasonable prices that worked within our budget when we had the money available. Because of his flexibility with different people's schedules including our own, it sometimes meant being patient for completion, but the workmanship, value & outcome proved worth it.
