They wanted a seamless flow between the spaces as well as from inside to outside. This house is designed to be an example of a perfectly sustainable home. Starting with placing the building so that it takes in the natural use of the sun and wind. Doors slide away extending the interior spaces to the outside. Daylighting is used throughout the house so that there is not a room that needs a light on during the day. It has a sophisticated smart home system that monitors the temperature and adjusts shades, opens windows, as needed. An adjacent solar array helps turn the meter back.
