Tri-State Paving

On Oct 6, 2020 David Mullins from Tri State Paving come by and said they were in the area and would I like my driveway paved. After discussing a price, I said I would have to use a credit card. He said no problem, we accept credit cards. After the work was done, which for the most part was good, when I went to sign the invoice there was an additional $273.00 added to the agreed to price of $7,000.00 labeled 3.9% sales tax. (Oregon has no sales tax) He said it was not a sales tax but a charge from the card reader company for using a credit card. ??? Had I been informed of this charge in the beginning, I would not have had the work done. Also, when I expressed my extreme displeasure with the charge, he said they would come back and pave a small unpaved area to make up for the extra charge. Still waiting! This company should not be considered reputable.
