They came when they said they would, the price was fair, they let me know when rain would not allow them to continue with the deck staining project, they finished as soon as they could. I would say, that's all one could ask for. Thanks for a job well done.

I WOULD RATE THIS COMPANY A ZERO IF I COULD. I can't begin to describe the horrible experience I had with this contractor. The only bright spot is the person, “Q”, who does the bulk of the work - working from start to finish. However, Rex Gantt, is another story. He asks for a deposit and then keep coming back for more money so that, before the job is complete, he has gotten almost all of the money if not more than initially quoted. When it was all said and done, he charged me for installing and providing materials for sod that I didn't receive; I had to spend my own money on the dumpster and for close to $1500 in rock due to his under estimating. He attempted to divide and conquer between my husband and I by telling us different stories (thank God for text messages) and at one point tried to tell my husband that (because Rex can't manage the money given to him) he would charge us $175 per pallet to lay sod if we purchased it (again AFTER we had already paid him for both sod, hydroseed and the accompanying labor). There were so many lies told AND, he absconded with the hydroseed materials that WE purchased which should have been left with us. They spent days and multiple hours just standing around with rakes in hand talking while rocks were still piled up waiting to be spread (likely to try and get the attention of neighbors for more business). He was asked multiple times not to contact us or come by our home, yet he continued to drive by our home (almost stalking) and then sent a text to me about "not overwatering" the hydroseed. He LEFT NO INSTRUCTIONS for the care of the lawn likely because he knew that he was stealing my materials, and instead left while it was dark and without saying a word to us. He was slow on responding to text messages (the best way of communicating in order to at least have the numerous variations of his stories about costs), however, one pattern was certain: if he sent a text it was because he was leading up to asking for more money. I paid him over $10,000 to hydroseed and sod my one and a quarter acre property along with cleaning up the yard, removing rock and adding rock to beds. I also had him remove shrubs but was specific on what not to remove only to come out and see he had removed them all. He was to repurpose several of the shrubs but only replanted my rose bushes and three shrubs. The others were thrown away against my wishes and now we will have to purchase more. I know this is a long review and it doesn't begin to fully share the horrible experience we had with Solarex. It took over a month to get the job done and all the while, I had other contractors performing work including cutting down 12 large trees prior to them getting started on the lawn and a few other items. Not one of those contractors asked for one dime before the work was completed! Word to the wise: RUN as fast as you can from this guy. And one final note: If you look at the reviews, each review has a person’s name. If you notice, Rex reviewed himself (Rex G.) apparently thinking he could write another person’s name in the review and it not be noticed that it was actually him who wrote it. I didn't notice this until it was too late. There are plenty of qualified companies out there and they don't take money in advance of the completion of the job because most have lines of credit with suppliers (like Home Depot) and have 30-60 days to pay so that they have everything they need (not to mention the motivation to finish and do a good job so their time and labor is compensated not to mention paying off the credit) to take care of the job. He is not a member of the Better Business Bureau. My advice, DON’T USE THIS COMPANY.
