Showed up hours late the random times he actually did work. Communication was very bad. I would have to text multiple times to ask if the guy was coming that day or at all, just to have him give random excuses of why he wouldn’t be coming. Service was estimated at 3 days, it took 2 weeks and the guy just stopped responding after I paid for the last service he completed (never finished the job). Took almost a week for the hoop to be done and it definitely isn’t a professional grade service. He was looking at YouTube videos in our driveway to figure out how to do it. Hoop net is already coming off, the hoop shakes when a ball hits it (like a shaky portable hoop), the pole isn’t centered in the middle of the cement, and he was going to leave the cement base exposed unless I made him fill it in. I thought he was going to add a nice level thin layer of dirt to the base.. but no. He made a large raised, coned shaped pile of dirt around the pole. I don’t understand why anyone would do that (Now I’m left to level all that crap out and deal with it). The two basic TV mount services he did complete could have been better. Most professional mounting services won’t leave a big discolored spot where they had to enter the wall, but of course this service did. And there was no thought put into where the new outlets were placed behind the TV. A Professional would think, let me place this outlet conveniently underneath the Mantle and not 2 ft to the left of the tv.. so you can see it with the wires attached as soon as you come into the room. Him ghosting me before he started the really difficult task of the large TV with complicated mount on the fireplace worked out. I was planning to fire him for a more skilled technician anyway. It sucks because, I love to support black businesses, but the service and quality of work just wasn’t good. It’s my fault though because you get what you pay for.
