I purchased a Groupon for air duct cleaning with bathroom exhaust fan cleaning, unlimited vents, and 1 return. First, it took a few weeks to even get them to answer their phone so I could schedule an appointment. After scheduling the appointment for a specific time, I received a confirmation with a completely different scheduled time. Good thing I didn't need to rearrange my schedule because I was going to be home all day any way. They actually ended up coming around the time I had originally scheduled. When they arrived, they checked my attic (where my HVAC system and ducts are) then told me that my Groupon didn't cover duct cleaning, which was what my Groupon specifically stated that it covered. Instead it would be an additional $300+ for the duct cleaning. I said fine. Then they showed me my furnace filter (which was dirty). They said for additional $120, they could replace the filter with a HEPA metal filter that would never need to be replaced (only washed every 6 months). I was hesitant, but I said fine...and I requested them to show my husband what they were doing and what they were replacing. Apparently, they ignored my request because my husband was never shown anything. They vacuumed out the return vents well, and only ran a vacuum hose over the supply vents (but did not go inside of them like the return vents). I had asked for them to cover my bed and floors with something so that the dust from the vents wouldn't get all over everything. They told me they cleaned up everything. When they left, there was dust all over my bed and on the floor in the hallway (under every vent). They DID NOT clean like they told me they did, nor did they cover anything. At the end of the visit, my total was $499. A couple days later, my husband went into the attic to find a furnace filter installed that was too big for the space, my old filter laying on the floor, and the door to the furnace filter thrown to the side. The new furnace filter was exposed to the outside air. That same week, everyone in the house got sick. I called Storm back to come and replace the filter with the correct size. They scheduled me another visit. On the day of the visit nobody every showed. I called (2 hours after the scheduled time) and was told they'd have someone out by the end of the same day. Nobody ever came and I never got a call back. This company is completely unprofessional, terribly lacks customer service skills, and does a shotty job. Use at own risk!!
