Pronto Home Repairs (legacy)

Pronto deserves no stars for being dishonest! They said they would come by to look at the damaged fascia and at least give a quote/do the repair. They gave us a specific appointment time and even emailed to remind us. When they had not arrived or contacted us 45 minutes after their scheduled time, we called them. The first explanation was that they meant to give an hour range. Then they said that they had come out earlier than the arranged time and would send a quote. UNTRUE! We were there and would have seen someone in the yard.

I will never, ever use Pronto again. They failed to diagnose a leak in my house for months and didn't seem to care. Here's my story. They first came out in November 2016 because I had a leak in my house that needed to be found and fixed. Their repair person said he fixed it. In January 2017, I noticed a leak in the same place in my house. Pronto sent out someone. This guy said he really fixed it. In March 2017, I noticed a leak in the same place in my house. Pronto scheduled an appointment. My wife stayed home from work to meet the contractor. They didn't show up. If you miss an appointment with them, their policy states, "A cancellation/rescheduling fee of $199 will apply for all appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled time." If they miss an appointment? Too bad for you. They say "maybe we could come another time" and that's it. Then they decided to refund my money since they couldn't fix the problem. I was still out $50+ for all the ceiling tiles I had bought to repair the ones damaged by the leak. Since Pronto failed me, another contractor came out the same week, diagnosed and fixed the actual problem, and all is well. Except that I had a leak in my house since November, lost money and time repairing my ceiling multiple times, and Pronto didn't keep their word and show up for a scheduled appointment. Terrible service. I don't recommend them.
