NEW MOON GARDENS

Over the years I have worked with David and New Moon Gardens on many different projects and have never been less than thrilled with the results. I have unhesitatingly recommended New Moon Gardens to friends & neighbors; David is a person of integrity, a superb plantsman & a true artist! The front garden that he designed & installed completely transformed the look of my home. People often stop to photograph the garden or to tell me that they walk by my house at different times of the year to see what's in bloom. If you choose to work w/New Moon Gardens you will not be disappointed!

As a response to Mr. Dodsons review I must clarify that I was never given an initial budget, the final price of the project was driven by his wife's ongoing additions to the project, she approved the design fee and she approved the final project but clearly never discussed the price with her husband. After 3 months of almost daily design conversations, meetings, contractor meetings and drawings I sent a fair invoice for only the work done generating design content and Mr. Dodson refused to pay based on a loophole that I did not make them sign a contract for design services... even though they continued throughout the process to text and email nothing but compliments and satisfaction with my work. I regretably referred the issue to my attorney and I am taking them to court for theft of services. In over 25 years in business in Atlanta, it is my first time having to do this. I'm in the business of creating beautiful gardens for my clients and enjoy wonderful relationships with most of them for many years. I should consider myself lucky that this has been my only truly bad apple.

We asked New Moon Gardens for a proposal to improve our yard. They came back with a price that was twice as high as the budget we gave them. Then when we did not hire them for the work, they sent a $4000 bill for design services - this was never communicated to us nor agreed to by us. When we refused to pay it, they hired an attorney named Bryson Hash who sent us a collection letter and threatened to sue us. Stay away from this company.
