Quality Decks Llc

I would not recommend Richard Moore and Quality Decks, LLC for any work and had a terrible experience with the business. Mr. Moore is courteous and knowledgeable but does not have the infrastructure to effectively manage the business and projects. He overcommits and under delivers and manages jobs based on the costs he incurs due to his own negligence and not the quote provided. He was hired in July 2022 for deck repair and paint at my home. What was supposed to be a 3-day job turned into nearly 2 months and still incomplete work. During the course of the work, he would commit to coming on a certain day and time and then not show up that day and for several more days. Once he resurfaced after not responding to calls and texts, he'd have a number of excuses and more promises that he ultimately would not keep. After several failed attempts at repair by his "employees" (I don't think he has any and just gets people to work for him based on favors), he ended up hiring a 3rd party company to complete repair. Also, he doesn't have the proper equipment to paint decks (paint sprayer) and attempted painting my deck using a paint roller. Overall, Quality Decks, LLC presents well upfront to secure the 50% deposit but is not at all qualified to work on anyone's home. Also, he'll request additional funding throughout the work knowing full well he has not intentions to complete it. Do not fall for this trap. He'll give you a sob story about his family, car, etc. to convince you to help him towards finishing the work. He'll definitely take your money and run.

Mr Richard Moore accepted our initial payment of $4000.00 and never completed the job. We agreed on a return of $2000.00 because he did at l adt tear down bc and haul a at. But he never refunded the $2000.00 after multiple promises.

I m still waiting on Richard Moore to refund my money or complete the work as promised. I will post a review quarterly until funds are refunded.

My husband and I have multiple properties and we have used Quality Decks/Mr. Moore several times… and he never lets us down… he has even come out at night to tarp a leaking roof for us….I just want to say… in a world of scam artists… and horrible contractors it’s…. Very refreshing to have someone reliable to call upon..
