****DAY 2 AFTER DELIVERY UPDATE: FIRST I WANT TO ADD, THEY ONLY TAKE CASH OR CERTIFIED FUNDS FOR PICKUP AND DELIVERY. Probably, because they know you will cancel a check or dispute the credit card charge, which is what they deserve. I am finding more broken items and more missing. Add a box of coats with a very nice leather jacket. The company will not answer their phone. I have requested numerous times for a call back and NOTHING!!! Not even a call to say they are working on it. I have registered my claims as they requested. UPDATE: Well, things took a turn for the worse! They came for delivery then wanted even MORE money. After a huge breakdown on my part they finally agreed not to charge more. However, every box came in with something spilled on it! I was told it came from my own stuff. I didn't pack any liquids or anything that could spill because, I didn't think I could. Every box was crushed. My brand new toaster oven was smashed, they broke the zipper on my mattress protector and ripped holes in it, numerous items broken. Then interestingly right at Christmas, a 40 inch TV is missing. I saved the original box for packing. A fairly new Shark vacuum missing, a box of bedding nowhere to be seen. I had to sleep on blankets. The empty propane tank for my BBQ gone. I am still unpacking but, I am sure I will find more missing or broken. DO NOT use these movers. This was the most stressful, irritating and disappointing experience I have ever had.

Russian crooks!! read the BBB bbb.org/us/co/denver/pro… Any positive reviews are false and made up. Read every one-star review; they all have a similar theme and this is exactly what happened to us. Our initial phone contact with this company promised a good deal but, behind the sales voices are crooks. The movers (heavy lifters) hired off the internet the day of the move and delivery, the truck was a rented u-haul. also, we could not get in contact with our designated point of contact at the company and had to pretend we were a new customer to get someone to call us back. Upon arrival at our new home, the date for delivery changed five times; we had nowhere to stay and had to spend a lot of money on hotels, etc. A lot of our furniture was scratched, broken and some of it is missing!!! the company hides behind a contract that protects them, not the customer. Our fault was not reading the crooked contract. read the fine print; do not use this company!

It's VERY hard for me to believe all the so called positive statements are legitimate made for Mile High Van Lines??? We feel we have been totally VIOLATED by this company!!! See my pasted comments below that has been filed with their so called settlement company and the BBB and decide for yourselves: BBB Complaint Form Business Information Mile High Van Lines 3882 Niagara St Denver, CO 80207 Complaint Summary Complaint Type: Consumer to Business Complaint Nature of complaint: Delivery Issues/Multiple misssing and broken items Problem description: NOTICE: I have contacted Mile High Van Line's so called arbitration settlement company some 6 weeks ago! They are now telling me Mile High Van Lines has 4 month to settle this Major Problem! This is Totally unacceptable as we have been clearly been viololated by this company! It is NOW 5 months since they picked up our possessions to have moved 588 miles. We are missing many things yet today that I've pasted below. The table top to our oak dining room set, our antique hall tree, my wife's bike missing!!!!!!!! And more. This is crazy! In my opinion, this is the same as stealing our possessions! Not to mention all the items that were delivered broken, like a 42" TV. HP Printer. Oak chair, many collector / antique items....if this isn't criminal, what is???????? Mile High Van Lines should NOT be in business! This has been one of the most HORRIBLE experiences I've ever experienced! We feel totally violated by this company in every way a moving family could experience. 1. Terrible Communication from everyone 2. Storm delay of 2 days but I had to spend hours trying to find when the movers would arrive 3. Movers (2) were from the country of Georgia with terrible English making things very difficult to communicate 4. brought only a 26' Truck and they had to go to the warehouse to unload and come back the following day 5. They were however very hard workers and packaged and wrapped furniture etc very well 6. I was informed our original estimate of $4800 was wrong and they supposedly accounted for $3480 which now was a total of $8,280.00 to deliver ONLY 588 miles... 7. I think we were totally over charged!!! 8. Our possession were picked up on October 30th and somewhat delivered on November 10th, which was totally unacceptable as we had to sleep on the floor for over a week with no furniture 9. Again NO communication from movers when delivery would be made even after multiple calls to confirm 10. On Sunday November 10th we get a call that the movers would be arriving approximately 3 PM... 11. Movers determined they could not get an 18 wheeler into our sub division 12. We had to pay $1000.00 more for a shuttle truck which finally showed up at 7PM Sunday evening 13. Unloading was completed about 10PM Sunday Night with multiple issues involved, 14. These movers (2) could also speak little English and communication was impossible. 15. They tried to deliver the wrong table top belonging to our Oak Dining room set, which is still missing. 16, My Craftsman Tool Chest was missing but found and delivered about 2 weeks later. 17. They deliver a marble piece to our (still missing) Antique Hall Tree? 17. Both my wife and I have tried dozens of times to communicate with these people only to hear we are working on it! NOT acceptable 18. My wife tried to reach a Bill at 970-818-2877 who is in management of some kind and he told here twice to ***** OFF as he was walking his dog! Again totally unacceptab;e 19. Again we feel totally violated and NOT going away from this terrible experience until we get compensated for our losses and anguish! 20. We have a moving cost of $9280 + Damaged or Lossed amounts of $5200 plus $10,000 for mental anguish creating a total of $24,480.00 we expect reimbursed from Mile High Van Lines. 21. We have our Law Firm standing by waiting for me to advise them of the action taken by Mile High Van Lines and their so-called loss settlement company! I have had the displeasure of having to move (2) times in 2019. But what it has taught me is that all moving companies are not the same. My first moving company was a dream to work with ( on both moves I opted for the white glove full pack option). My stuff was packed and labeled with care and everything showed up on time and in great shape. We when it comes to my second move that has not been the case. As I had not lived in the area long I reached out to a broker and they sent my 3 companies to do bids for my job. After 6 phone calls and an onsite visit I decided to go with Mile High Vanlines. I asked all the right questions and demanded all the right services (having been educated from just doing this) they were not the cheapest bid I received but the salesman John said all the right things and gave me assurances that I was looking for. I should state that I had a very tight pick up and delivery date (which we went round and round on the cost they started out trying to charge me $3500 for my guaranteed delivery window even thought the conract stated if was only a $1000 cost) (which is what we finally after much aggrivated discussion) as I was traveling out of the country and it was over the Christmas and new years holiday. They showed up a day and half late and with only half the staff to start the packing and loading, after arriving after NOON they left at 5pm. They arrived the next day at 9:15 am and proceed to finish packing up my stuff they finished at 8:30 pm .. sort of.. they ran out of room in the truck and left we with a pile of moving boxes, trash and a large file cabinet (that I had to get rid of!) and then we still had our jet ski's and snow machine to get picked up, I had been asking about this all day. (I was charged separately on an itemized list on my bill for these) it took over 2 hours to get a manger on the phone and we had to arrange for a tow truck to come pick these up at 1 am. But that is not what is upsetting they decided to demand an additional 10% of the cost of our move to deal with them or they were going to dump all of our stuff out on the ground right now. The manager then said some very derogatory things to us... In hindsight we should have just had them unload our belongings and found a new company. But we were leaving the country the next day for the holidays and were moving the day we got back in the country to get our kid into school on time. As I am writing this I still have not received my stuff, They keep calling and stating that they are going to deliver it today or tomorrow but it has not shown up and when you talk to a manager they just say the law says they have 21days to deliver it to you so READ you contract. If I had $100 for every time they said READ your contract I would have a free delivery, But the are graciously going to reduce my invoice by $1000.00. They say this like it is a discount but really it is just a removal of a fee for a service that they did not provide. My advice is to NOT us a local moving company they just sub you out to other people pick a national large scale moving company they will have quality workers and trucks. In closing moving is a very costly and stressful time, this is not the company to help ease that stress. I am hopeful that my stuff will be arriving between 9 am and noon tomorrow and that it will be in good shape. Plus that they have labeled it so it can be put where it belongs and that all the parts are here to reassemble my furniture. I hope I do not have to move again any time soon. Good luck
