| Pool Deck Restoration | Jul 2012 | This deck had suffered from a combination of not being maintained regularly, wrapped around a pool and suffered from direct sunlight for most of every day in the summer time. In addition to several routine repairs with handrails and spindles, we had to replace an entire section of deck floor that had warped due to being in direct sunlight for so long, as untreated pressure treated lumber has a tendency to do. After allowing the wood to cure for a couple months, we came back to powerwash and stain the deck. After the deck had dried but before we stained it, we employed our large on-floor sander to all accessible areas, ensuring a nice, "foot friendly" surface. A standard 2-coat application of Deckscapes was then applied, with a 3rd where necessary for coloring. This created a great looking surface for our awesome customers and their kids to use with confidence. | $4k | Plainfield, IL |
