CHAMBERS & SONS PAVING

I am the pastor of Open Bible Tabernacle in Marietta. We received 4 bids on our upper lot. Chambers and Sons were just a little less, but their scope of work was much better. They did exactly what they said they would do, exactly when they said they would, and charged me exactly what they said they were going to. Very refreshing. Also I love that 3 generations of Chambers and Son’s are on the job along with a great crew. They have truly gone the extra mile on both parking lots they have repaved, sealed, and striped for us. I highly recommend them!

This is a family owned business with 3 generations serving their customers. They repaired multiple places in our parking lot then sealed and re-striped. Excellent work and very easy to work with. Could not have been more pleased.

I only put a 1 because I had to put SOMETHING. Chambers & Sons was chosen pave my driveway. It took many attempts to get the job started because they had "bigger" jobs to tend to first. Once they completed the first round they were to come back in a couple months to seal the driveway. Terrible, terrible job. Within one month, weeds were coming up through the blacktop. They paved the driveway, not with the previous natural width, but obviously thinner - why? I have no idea. It couldn't have been a huge saving on product! Maybe they didn't want to have to go over it twice to make it the correct width. Instead of paving flush up against the house, they paved AROUND the gutter drain therefore directing all the water into my garage. The city had done some work at the foo t of my driveway (my property, not the cities as verified by them). They just left that portion out, therefore two different colors on the driveway vs. consistency to the road. And lastly, when it rained there were two huge puddles that formed every single rainfall. Of course, right where I step into my car. It took me EIGHT MONTHS of almost weekly emails to get them to come back to finish and correct their work. When they finally came out (in between their "bigger" jobs, so again, multiple reschedules) they SAID they addressed the issues. After literally THE FIRST rain, there were now 3 puddles just slightly relocated. In addition, every time it rains, based on the terrible grade - now the indoor/outdoor carpet in my garage (which I use as a side room), is DRENCHED. I was told "I'm sorry, that's the best we can do". Refusing to come back and fix the completely shoddy work and knowing the only recourse for me is to take them to court. As I sit here today, again while it's raining and water is pouring into my, now, moldy-smelling garage and dodging multiple puddles as I try and go from the car into the house -- the court situation is still a possibility. Recently we needed to have paving done for our business parking area. Other than the research we did on line, we knew very little about paving. After meeting with a number of other paving companies we selected Chambers and Sons to complete the task. At the initial meeting with the owner, Bill Chambers, we were very impressed with not only how he answered our questions, but how informative and detailed he was about how his company could complete our paving project. As the paving process began, the son, Kenneth Chambers, and the company's team did an awesome job explaining in detail the process. We are extremely pleased with the final result of the paving and without any reservations, we would definitely refer this company to anyone else in need of paving. Signed, Davises
