Sharing facts of my experience with Travis Bell: - Requested estimate to move a playset from one location to another in metro Atlanta area - Received a reply and sent some photos of the set and received a quote for the job - Travis went to the home of the play set owner to survey the location on Sunday as agreed and then said he was tired and wouldn't complete the job that day despite that being agreed upon but then said he would come back Monday to move it. - No word on Monday morning from Travis about doing the move. Followed up with him and then he said it would be Tuesday. - He claims he went back to the property on Tuesday morning and then gave me a call stating he started to move it and found hornets and the owner would have to treat them before he could do the work. - Play set owner went out of their way to arrange pest control, treat the alleged "hornets" and found none. - Travis has now declined the job when asked for a written contract and proof of insurance. 2 stars is being gracious. Unsympathetic, no apology for stringing along nearly a week for a paying job. A complete waste of time and effort trying to use this company for a simple service. Buyer beware.

I hired Travis Bell to (1) paint and mud a closet and (2) install shelving from the Container Store. Travis' quote was reasonable and he mentioned that he would need 1-1.5 days to complete the project. He showed up on day 1 and worked about 5 hours, then said he'd need a partial third day, but he'd start early on day 2. On day 2, I received a notice that he'd be a few hours late, and when his delayed start of 11am rolled around, he said he didn't have a babysitter. When I called and told him he'd put me in a tough position, his response was "I'm not really feeling this call, man." Anyways, bottom line is that he isn't reliable and will leave you hanging. Avoid.

We inquired about getting our screen door put up and a few other things around the house and Travis responded immediately and set up to come within 2 days. He did a wonderful job and helped fix our dishwasher that was out of its brackets as well as a cabinet that wasn't closing. Promt and very courteous, I would recommend him to anyone! Job well done!

My furniture piece was delivered 1 day later than expected, so I had to reschedule my time for Travis to come. When I first told this to Travis, he said it was no problem at all and that he would come the next day to assemble it for me. After that, I sent numerous messages (texts AND voicemails) letting him know the piece was at my house and I wanted to touch base about what time he could come. He did not reply to a single message after that, nor did he return my call. I was on a deadline to get this installed, and I relied on his word to my detriment. Ended up having to go back to the drawing board and hiring someone else.
