Contractor Scam Artist Stephen B Holt - AKA Bo Holt Austin Home Remodeling Plus 13492 Research Blvd Austin, TX 78750 This address is a ups store. When I went on to find out from them if he was there they couldn’t really tell me he was, but he did say they had a lot of people coming in there looking for him and to serve some as. That’s just a piece of it. Former owner of Crystal Sunrooms, another scam front. He claims to be licensed and part of boards on his website, all fake. We hired Stephen Holt based on Home Advisor but we didn’t do thorough research on him, we researched the company and boy did we get scammed. We started a room addition over 2.5 years ago and are still fixing issues in design and construction by this so called contractor. He will take your money and do work until he gets to about 50%, and after fighting to get there he will want more money. This man preys on families, individuals, and just about anyone he can. We eventually had to sue him just to get a fraction of the money he stole from us back and he agreed to repay it only to never actually do so. This man has a criminal record, he’s sweaty, slimy and a liar through and through. He has never picked up a hammer in his life. Every single contractor he hired will not do business with him and has come and asked me for money, money I have already given him. He will insult you, your spouse and simply not show up. We started our project in Nov of 2016 with him and he didn’t even pull the building permit until March. He blamed the city, but we now know that he lies. The city of Austin hates him but there’s nothing they can do! There are tons of other contractors, do your research. This company is a fraud, this man took $30,000 for work he never completed. I have him on recording, I have signed agreements infront if lawyers. He is a coward and anyone who knows him should watch their pocket books.
