Mr. Jon owns a home park and uses a lot of ptac (hotel type) units. He bought a bunch of them that had the boards and controls taken out of them and wanted to see if i could get them working. I was about to say it wasn't worth it but I got a transformer, relay, contactor, sequencer, a regular wall thermostat, and a lot of wiring and now it works like a charm. I've only finished one but have several to go so there isn't many pics. I thought it was neat and i would share it with every one

Mr. Jones had a guy come and install a condensing unit for him. I don't think the guy was licensed or anything, we looked into it. But the unit actually caught on fire burning a lot of his siding and almost burned his house down. The guy did warranty the unit but it wasn't the right size or freon. So we did him a favor and did a good quality job by certified and licensed contractors. We had to try and sell the condenser he got that wasnt any good and it wasn't a heat pump. Its sad there are people out there like that messing with such important equipment to a person's home without knowing what they are doing. He was happy once we were finished and gave him the job every customer deserves.

Replace 2.5 ton condenser and evaporator coil. Also repair line set and replaced drier. Unit is ready to be charged with Freon and a startup performed. Foreclosed home. We bought condenser and evaporator coil for job but bank had max amount they were allowed for the job. We retrofitted the new a coil to work with r 410 refrigerant. Will not do start up until home sales. General contractor said not to square unit up or anything because 8 out of 10 if the units are stolen before the house sells.

This is the first complete system changeout I did when I got my license. Cutting in holes for vents duct work and everything. I had one helper for about half a day. It is not as great of quality as the ones I do now. I've grown in knowledge and how everything has to be done properly. But i will always be proud of this job and taking it on by myself and they still haven't had any problems with it.

My buddy bought this home and it only had window units. He had spray foam insulation put in. We put an efficient heat pump rheem In the home. The air handler was set in the attic along with duct system.
