Edgewood Landscape

Be very careful if you decide to have Edgewood Landscape install plants because they don’t stand behind their work. Get EVERYTHING in writing. Furthermore, once you tell them you have a problem, they won’t return your calls. We had Edgewood plant 5 large Sabal palms in January. Even though we watered them faithfully as instructed, the top of one of the trees turned brown after only 4 weeks. When I contacted Edgewood, they said they would send someone out to look at it. If it was indeed dead, they initially indicated they would replace it. Then came the run-around. No one came to look at the tree, and no one returned my calls. Finally, after a month, someone came out, agreed the tree was dead, and then denied they ever said they would replace it because they said never give a warranty. I didn’t expect them to guarantee the tree for a whole year, but I think it should have lasted more than 3 or 4 weeks. Not only did we lose the cost of the tree, now we have to pay someone to take it out. When I asked Edgewood to how much they would charge to remove the dead tree, they said they would get back to me, but never did.
