Used to be my go to person. I called him on an upstairs bathroom leak that was coming through kitchen ceiling. He resealed the toilet which did not resolve the issue. I contacted him he said he would let me know when he could fit me in. I never heard back from him I contacted him again no response. I contacted a plumber that found that a valve on the toilet was leaking. Then I Had to get a water litigation company to get the water out of the ceiling and that had to get my kitchen ceiling repaired. At this time I had scheduled a tile installation job with him that I then cancelled because of his lack of concern for the water leakage problem. I most recently had an issue with a disposal the he replaced. He came quickly resolved the issue being a penny that probably my grand daughter threw into the sink. He didn't charge us. He said to call him if we had more work for him. I then decided to give him another chance to do the tile job. He said he was about a month and a half out. I waited for him to get back to me with an actual date. I contacted him again and asked when he would get back to me with the date, he said he had 6 or 7 more jobs that day and he would get back to me. Never heard back. If he could not figure out the toilet problem he should have told me straight up so I would not patiently wait for him while my house gets water damage.

It is now 2/13/15. Prior to the end of the year, I contacted Chris Burns to review two projects. I did this based upon the information as found thru this Lowes referral service. The project was to consist of installing dead bolt locks on my two side gates to the back yard. I also had him look at correcting the noise coming from an expensive ceiling fan. He reviewed the gate requirements and took measurements and stated he would contact a fabricator to get an estimate of the cost and get back to me. He looked at the ceiling fan and said there was nothing that could be done and they just make noise. As for the gates, I never heard back from him. I contacted him last week and he stated that the blame was on the fabricator never getting back to him. He said he would then follow-up. Today I called him and he again stated that the fabricator again did not get back to him. As for the ceiling fan, I contacted the manufacturer and they stated the noise could be fixed with a simple part that they shipped to me for free, now no noise. I was going have Chris install it but decided not to since today I canceled the job order with him. In fairness, he did state how busy he was with all the work he has to do. But, also in fairness to both me and future individuals needing work done, as well as to notify Lowes of how he conducts his business, I am writing this review. I cannot tell you how good his work is, but his work ethics are in question as well as customer service. Since Porch.com sends out constant emails letting people know what work is being done in my neighborhood and who is doing it and the outcome, I felt it my duty to write this review.
