From small decks and porch remodels, to full basement finishing and additions, Castleberrys sets a high standard of customer service throughout the process. Hi, my name is LeBron Castleberry. I am a 5th generation carpenter with over 20 years experience in the trade. I started at 17 years old, toting lumber for a builder and worked my way through every facet of home construction; from single family homes to multi family projects and large commercial interior trim outs. As a Journeyman Carpenter, I have seen a lot of the good, some of the bad and most everything in between. Any coach will tell you that consistency breeds success, and practice makes you consistent. Focus on the process and hold yourself to the standard you want to see in others. My goal on each and every project is to provide for the client the highest level of return for their investment. As a project manager and superintendent overseeing 20-40 craftsman, and 20 different crews simultaneously; I well understand the issues related to large scale projects and how easily it can get out of control without stringent control of quality on a day to day basis. As a business owner, I want to create long lasting relationships with my clients; developing a high level of trust in my work, employ skilled craftsman that truly enjoy the work, and seek the same satisfaction in a job well done. I'm not a businessman or an accountant and probably the worlds worst secretary and thats ok, I'm not trying to be something I am not. I just want to build things and make people happy. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy my work and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. I employ only those that have a similar passion and a need to strive for excellence in all that they do. From simple door repair or screwing a few screws in a loose handrail to building the deck of your dreams, we approach every job with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship. My grandfather built homes for 50 years and was well known as a 'no nonsense craftsman' of the old school... 'do it right or go home.' He could see a quarter inch from 50 feet away and required excellence from anyone working for him. He loved to fish and to garden, all of his own food was a great source of pride as he retired. I can never forget the taste of the worlds finest strawberry preserves on warm toast... so good. The huge pantry filled with jams and jellies of all kinds and just about any vegetable that could be canned, in the back room of the house he spent 10 years of weekends and holidays building. With his bare hands, a hammer and some basic tools, he dug the foundation, layed the block walls, built and shingled the roof as well as all of the cabinets and a good portion of the furniture. it wasn't what we would call fancy, but it was built to last generations... true high quality in every aspect. I can remember as a kid, poking through his ancient tool collection... many of those tools were passed down from HIS grandfather. I have always been in awe of how they were able to build the things they did with such limited (to me at the time) resources. To this day, nearly every piece of work I set out to do is in some way inspired by the countless generations of craftsman that have built all that we see around us. I strive to honor the spirit of the craft by adhering to the old ways as much as I can. Yes, modern technology has given us many advantages and tools that the old timers would surely scoff at and see as being "too easy" as my Gramps was fond of saying. "if its too easy, you'll get lazy" or "if it was easy, everyone would be doing it". I believe that we can combine the spirit of the old with the advantages of the new and provide the highest quality workmanship that we are capable of, through attention to the detail, truly personal customer service, and artisan craftsmanship. At the same time we can match the needs of each individual client with the products and techniques that best service their particular project. For example, the main entry door is often the focus of the front of the house and provides a design element that is pleasing to the eye with great curb appeal, while the priority for the typical rear basement door is function and security, with design and aesthetics being secondary. At Castleberrys, each project has its most important features and criteria, each client has particular needs and specific priorities. With many satisfied customers, a A+ rating on AngiesList and many references, you can be sure that we will provide a quality service and a high return for your investment dollar. Doors and decks, remodel, porches or a new custom home, Castleberrys is a phone call (or an email) away. Please note... Im not a writer or a professional website designer, please forgive any egregious errors in grammer. thanks!

bellevue deck | Sep 2014 | build deck | $35k | Bellevue, WA | |
416 deck redux | Jan 2013 | Re-furbish existing cedar deck with new decking, reinforced framing, benches and custom woodworking. the 20n year old decking had deteriorated to the point of being unsafe while the general structure was in decent shape and only needed the addition of correct joist hangers new concrete footings. This project required some creative design work to combine the existing upper deck with the new lower deck by using new decking, top rail and bench area and reusing the original cedar picket system providing a nice contrast and tie in to the original work. I really enjoyed this project and think it looks great!! | $7k | Seattle, WA |
