R-Tek Insulation Inc.

R-Tek insulated my lake house in 2005. They were very professional and exceeded my expectations. My house was very comfortable year round and my utility bills were super low, proving cellulose is very efficient. I would, and HAVE recommended R-Tek to anyone needing a top quality insulation job.

My initial opinion on this company was very positive. The owners estimate seemed fair and detailed until it came to doing the actual work. The night before the job was supposed to start, the owner decided to just then tell me that I would not be able to be in the house at all during the foam insulation. I can understand this because of the fumes, but forgetting to tell me ahead of time is unacceptable. The day came to do the insulation and nobody showed up. I finally texted the owner and that is when they finally broke the news to me that they would need to reschedule because of broken equipment. A phone call giving me an update regarding the situation would have been nice instead of me sitting there waiting, especially when I had to take a day off of work to get this job done. I would need to contact the owner every step of the way after that to make sure the job was completed. I had to pry answers out of them just to get the job completed. I am still waiting for a test-out audit to be completed to verify how the work went, but I would not suggest going with this company for any work. They kept me guessing every part of the way and did not communicate well.
