The kitchen cabinets started out very nice. But within one to one and 1/2 years, there became many, many chips and places of flaking paint. After 2 1/3 years, the white painted cabinets are looking very worn. Evidently, the bare cabinets were not prepared, not sanded or cleaned to receive cabinet paint and finish. My inexpensive utility cabinets from Menards are still in perfect shape. I requested a small amount of paint to touch up chips and worn places on just about on every cabinet. What I got was a finish that was duller than the original paint, so that is a messed-up look. Just to say very aggravated from the whole set, which will be very expensive to replace after just 2 years 3 months use by a older couple.
