Basement Remodel | May 2015 | We got the call to come in and rescue the drywall job in this homeowners basement. 75% of the drywall was hung and taping very poorly done. Without further question we got to work hanging the remaining drywall and commencing the taping and mudding process. With three coats of mud up and sanded the fresh walls and ceilings were ready for a quality finish job. We applied a clean coat of Kilz 2 drywall primer. Proceeding the priming the ceilings were finished in Sherwin Williams Master Hide Flat White Ceiling Paint and Walls in Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200 Eg-Shel in "Rain". The customer was extremely pleased to have the basement ready for the bar instillation and a cold beer to follow. | $2k | Barto, PA
Gilbertsville Interior Painting | May 2015 | Our client was sick and tired of 18+ years of Builders white and the builders "interesting" wallpaper choices. We started in Grand Foyer with ceilings reaching a max height of 22 ft. The walls and ceilings were in great shape so only a quick patch was required to acquire a blemish free surface. As the customer wanted bonding time with the family they all pitched in and removed the wall paper which is a simple yet tedious process. After prep work was completed the ceilings were coated twice in Sherwin Williams Master Hide Flat White Ceiling Paint and the walls in a M.A.B green with an accent wall in a darker shade. The trim was finished in Sherwin Williams Super Paint Extra White Semi-Gloss. The customer was very pleased with the fresh and updated look. | $2k | Gilbertsville, PA
Coventry Manor Kitchen | Apr 2015 | This Project was for a Nursing Home's Kitchen in the Pottstown area. The kitchen also included a pantry. With all plaster walls there was a lot of patching to handle first. After a few days of patching an Zinsser Oil Primer was rolled on all walls and ceilings. After the priming, Sherwin Williams Pre-Cat was applied in two coats for an industrial finish. | $2k | Pottstown, PA
Kitchen/ Family Room Remodel | Mar 2015 | This project was for a family of four in the heart of the home, of course being the kitchen/ Family Room. This was a very close family and enjoyed gathering for quality time and entertaining in this space. The project was completed in roughly 2 weeks. It is a simple design with a mosaic tile back-splash in a stacked pattern. The counter tops ware a 1' x 1' ceramic tile in a subway pattern with a 1/8" spacing (This is a great alternative to solid slabs and for less than 1/3 of the cost). The cabinet faces were primed and finished in a Sherwin Williams Rare Gray. The entire family room and kitchen were patched and painted in a two tone scheme. The ceilings being flat white and trim in extra white semi-gloss. There is a simple chair-rail on the walls with the same Rare Gray underneath and Sandstone Cove atop it. We added in pewter accents such as cover-plates, lighting, faucet and handles to set off the modern feel. The finished project was simple, warm and felt like a modern and sophisticated country kitchen. | $3k | Barto, PA
Machine Shop | Dec 2014 | This was a project for a Commercial Machine Shop in Kutztown Pa. The wall had recently been put up but another contractor who was unable to finish the wall to an acceptable appearance. We got the call and got right to work. The wall was 25 Feet high and 100 Feet long (2500 sq ft.), So naturally we rented a scissor lift to speed up the process. We started the project with 2, 12 hour days of patching, which included rerunning tape lines, and other extensive patching. After some serious patching we rolled the wall with Soft Woven 14" Sherwin brand rollers. The patches were all spot primed and then rolled over. The paint was Pro Mar 200 Eg-Shel in "Snowbound". After the wall was done the Steel Beams were painted with Sherwin Williams Acrylic All Surface Enamel in "CyberSpace" grey. The project took 4 Days and turned out great, the owners were very impressed by the speed and attention to detail used in their shop. | $1k | Kutztown, PA
Garage/ Barn | Oct 2014 | This project was for a man's Garage/ Barn. The first day we power-washed the entire Garage to remove the mold, dirt and any loose paint (All paint chips were caught in drop clothes and thrown away. Next came some repairs, any rotten wood was replaced with new and primed, All window panes were re-glazed and all holes or gaps in wood filled and caulked. The second day all of the trim was primed with Zinsser Oil-Based Primer. After prepped and primed the trim was coated twice in Sherwin Extra White SuperPaint Exterior. After the Garage was done the back door's frame and adjoining window were primed and painted as well as the entire front porches trim. The owner was very pleased with the results and was happy to have it done so quickly and professionally. | $2k | Boyertown, PA
Fence / Deck | Oct 2014 | This project was to strip, clean and re-stain a split- rail fence. The first day included stripping the entire fence and porch. The Sherwin stripper was applied and given adequate time to work and then power washed off. The next day Sherwin Revive was applied and again power washed off. The revive opens up the pores of the wood and allows it to accept the stain with a more consistent and adequate amount of stain. The third day the Sherwin Medium Transparent Stain was applied for the first time and allowed a day to set in. The third day was actually two days after the Stripper and Revive were used to allow the wood a day to rest. The fourth day, the last coat of stain was applied and the outcome was great. The owner was thrilled with the result of the newly restored wood. | $2k | Pottstown, PA
