Terrain Land Architects was founded in 2012 in the high rockies of Colorado, though our roots stretch far and wide from this place. We draw on our individual memories, experiences, passions, and beliefs in pursuit of the design of great places. We believe the craft should come first and there is no reason that we cant give the client both what they want and great design. We believe in an inclusive, transparent landscape design process and open dialogue with our clients. We believe in clear, emotive communication, and effective solution-finding through outstanding graphics, attention to detail, active listening, research, and concise analysis. We believe in process vs. formula driven design. We believe in context-sensitive solutions that evolve from each projects specific goals and objectives. We believe in practice, because there is always space to get it right.
