About Porter Construction
We do a little bit of everything from new home construction, remodeling, tile work including custom walk-in showers, backsplashes, etc, hardwood flooring, crown molding, electrical, plumbing, metal and shingle roofs, drywall, etc. I have been in this business for 11 years and I have learned from some of the best on the job plus a 2 year degree in general carpentry. I hired him to refinish/paint my kitchen cabinets, he went above and beyond to say the least, they look brand new and completely different since he installed crown molding, etc.., it took a little longer than anticipated but we’ll worth the finish product. I’ve had several compliments on them already and he is now doing some for a friend of ours and I hope to get him to remodel my bathroom next year.

DO NOT HIRE this man and he is NOT licensed! I have outlets hanging out of my walls, my shower and commode were removed in one bath to start the remodel in there and they have been left that way for 2 months, my wall is open in my laundry room, paneling is ripped off walls in my dining room etc. I wish there was a place to put the pictures on this review! As soon as I started wanting more explanation for where my money was going when so LITTLE was being done on my home he stopped speaking to me and will not return calls. Also will not give me the supplies he supposedly purchased with my money for my home!
