Remove & Replace 12"×12"×12' Cedar Porch Posts

The homeowner had noticeable failure in the porch posts which supported the canopy in the front of his home. The cedar posts were both water damaged and termite ridden. We removed the damaged, water beaten posts, replace them with new posts, and restained all of the exposed wood around the exterior of his home.

Baton Rouge Federal Courthouse

The federal courthouse in East Baton Rouge Parish Louisiana was undergoing a facelift as it was welcoming in new tenants. The building built in the early 1900s was replete with antique wood 10 and 12 ft tall doors and with transoms over the doors. The D.A.S Company was hired to refurbish the wooden doors and transoms as well as the wooden door trim.

The homeowner grew tired of having carpet in his interior stairwell and desired a facelift to that area. He removed the carpet and exposed the plywood subfloor. We came in, install wooden risers and runners, stained them, and gave a new look to a satisfied customer.

The walls were covered with plywood panel boards and the floors were covered with a roll vinyl flooring and with carpeting. The kitchen counters were formica countertops and The cabinets were stained brown. The homeowner wanted granite countertops and lighter colored cabinets along with laminate floors along with an updated wall paint. We provided a full service.
