  | Bed Design & Installation, house on blocks. | Nov 2014 | This is a fun project. The front of the house was bare and uninviting. Now it is beautiful and will have something attractive about the bed all year long. Metal edging keeps a clean line between the grass and the flower bed. For this project it really is appropriate. We noticed the beds were simply bare dirt and hadn't been mulched for at least 1+ season. Suggested laying fresh mulch for weed prevention in the future. Solution included hand weeding all beds, trimming boxwood hedges, installing fresh mulch, removing several bags of magnolia leaves that had fallen into existing bed and alley. Finally as lagniappe we re-edged the walkway up to the door and all around existing beds. We suggested a 6 step weed control and fertilization package to deal with chronic weed problem in yard and beds.
