1950's Bathroom brought up to 2016 | Jan 2016 | This bathroom was a complete remodel. We added a linen closet, new vanity with granite top, and a new tile floor. The wood used on the vanity is also used to dress the face of the tub. The bathroom features an accent wall of 3X6 travertine tile. The shower glass is custom designed to accommodate showering or an open bath experience. The center panel sets on the tub and finishes at the ceiling. The left glass panel is hinged to the center panel allowing access to the tub spout and shower controls. The right glass panel is hinged on the center panel allowing the door to swing in for a shower and out to allow the bather room to rest their arms on the tub deck. The end of the tub is open. NO closed in feel here! | $40k | Aiken, SC
Galley Kitchen Remodel | Dec 2015 | The client desired to use his culinary skills with a view of the outside. The kitchen was a typical galley style with cabinets lining two walls with sink on one side and stove top and wall oven on the other. We installed a peninsula on a 60 degree angle housing the gas stove with down draft to enable the client to create culinary delights with the view he desired. The client wanted the oven and microwave to be installed at a height where no bending over is necessary to use! Friends can now join in the fun with the more roomy layout. Client desired space for spices and oils. We installed floating shelves at the stove area and spice racks on the pantry doors for convenient access. The flooring is a Cortec Laminate wood plank a great product for a well used kitchen. It is comfortable to stand for long periods of time due to its cork underlayment. A desk was removed from the original kitchen leaving cook books needing a home. We designed a narrow book case to the left of the refrigerator. The wall cabinetry now finish at ceiling height and have dimension with the refrigerator cabinet coming forward from the wall. The crown molding is glazed to match the cabinetry around the entire kitchen. The kitchen fits nicely in the original style of the home. A nice remodel that does not date the rest of the home. | $50k | Aiken, SC
Aiken, SC. Masterbath | Aug 2013 | The original bathroom was suitable by most standards, although the client desired a barrier free shower, new traditional styled cabinetry and tile work. Granite tub deck, and vanity top, new lighting arrangements provided better lighting. | $53k | Aiken, SC
Aiken Shower | Mar 2013 | The original fiberglass shower was cramped when the care-giver needed to squeeze in to assist her spouse while bathing, our Solid Surface shower system offered a low profile curb to make it easier to enter. A wider door design allowed more room for the two to enter when needed. | $9k | Aiken, SC
North Augusta Master Bathroom | Aug 2012 | The original 3 room bathroom was cramped and dated, the homeowner's wanted a roomier bathroom without adding additional square feet. We removed the 2 walls dividing the bathroom, relocated the toilet to create more room for the shower which was built with a tiled ramp to allow entry of a walker or chair if the future called for it. | $23k | North Augusta, SC
Aiken, SC. Bathroom Remodel, Steam Shower | Jun 2012 | The client had begun the remodel before we came on the scene. After too many interruptions in his schedule, he consented to allow someone else to come in and complete the project. | $24k | Aiken, SC
Bathroom Re-facing | Jan 2012 | This client needed taller vanities but didn't want to tear out the original cabinets. She desired to change from white cabinetry to cherry wood. Other details involved new shower glass enclosure, new plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, framed mirrors vs. the old dated 10 ft. wide plate mirrors. Another detail the owner desired was to have her hair dryer plugged in at all times while it remained inside the drawer. We wired in an outlet in the back of the drawer box. | $30k | Aiken, SC
Aiken, Kitchen Re-facing | Nov 2011 | This project involved re-facing the kitchen cabinetry with the addition of removing the old hardwood flooring and replacing it with a new tile floor | $30k | Aiken, SC
Master Bathroom Remodel | Aug 2011 | The client understandably never used the garden tub and desired a barrier free entry into her new shower. Desiring to replace the white vanity cabinets with traditional wood tone finishes with granite tops, new plumbing fixtures, a larger laundry work room by utilizing the old shower's footprint delivered the bathroom of her dreams | $51k | Aiken, SC |
