Thompson Electric, Inc. is a full service electrical contracting company started in 1977 by father and son, and has grown to be one of the largest electrical contractors in Ohio. With a spacious facility, fully stocked warehouse, a large fleet of fully equipped vehicles and the best trained workers in the industry, Thompson Electric, Inc. works hard to give you quality service at a competitive price. Thompson Electric, Inc has two primary business divisions. Our outside division installs and maintains substations, builds and rebuilds overhead and underground distribution and transmission lines, installs and maintains highway lighting and traffic controls. With highly skilled and trained crews equipped with the tools, trucks, and equipment needed we are able to meet and exceed our customers' needs. Our Inside Divisions install and maintain all of the electrical systems within your facilities, as well as many specialty systems required by building departments and codes. With a large fleet of fully stocked service vehicles, we are able provide emergency service work and well managed projects minimizing down time, saving our customers time and money. No job is too small or too large for these Divisions. All of our electricians and linemen receive four to five years of training from the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC). This highly skilled training program is approved by the Federal Department of Labor (DOL) and surpasses any other construction training program in the world. Thompson Electric, Inc. is signatory with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and is also a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
