Tanner Roofing

We are so flabbergasted with our experience, the best description I can come up with for this company is appallingly incompetent. To close on the sell of our house, we had to make some roof repairs and our realtor set up an estimate with Tanner. This was not my first choice, but she knew someone who works there. They said it would be a day or 2, but no one ever showed up. When I called a young ditzy girl answered the phone, she placed me on hold for 10 minutes and then came back to tell me she had no record of mine or my husbands name but would talk to their inspector and call back later. A day passed. Their customer service / lack of organization should have been a big red flashing sign. Over 5 days after the call from our realtor, ditzy calls back to let us know she had our estimate. How could she have our estimate when they didn't remember our name and no one could make the effort to show up? I asked her to email it over. They didn't have our estimate. We needed a $100 repair to replace some shingles before closing, they send us an estimate to replace the stupid roof!!! I called back and told this girl they must have had the wrong house and she said no, since you have a 2 story house the inspector had to order a picture of the house for the estimate. Why??? We needed a repair!! None of the other 3 companies who gave us estimates had to have some fancy picture. They got on the roof, looked at the problem and immediately gave us a price. I dont care what fancy training they claim to have they dont have a clue about how to fix a roof or customer service. Thats a big fat PASS.
