Hot mix asphalt paving

I got a quick response and quote but it was all downhill from there. When they came and did the work, his son suddenly charged me an extra 800 for “extra material” to finish the driveway, and then talked me into sealing it for $1000. They finished the driveway, and did not do a culvert like we had previously been quoted as needing, his son’s company “sealed it” as soon as the work was done. Within an hour of completing it a severe thunderstorm hit (which they knew about and rushed the work to be done before it hit) the next morning deep rivets were tunneled out all through my driveway from the storm, as well as all of the sealant washed away. My husband and I have both been trying to contact them since the beginning of May to repair the driveway and reseal it, but are constantly ignored. (It is now the end of August) and we have been ignored and avoided this whole time. Our driveway is horrible because they didn’t wait for a clear forecast before laying it, there’s also grass growing through several areas because it wasn’t graded properly and a lot of it washed away. Would absolutely not recommend Martin with Hot Asphalt Paving, or his son for asphalt sealing.
