Berlin water damage | Jan 2013 | Water collected on the flat roof above the front door and inadequate weatherproofing and water diversion allowed water to get to the substrate. The stucco was removed as well as the damaged ( rotted ) wood framing and sheathing. The framing and sheathing was replaced. The weatherproofing was corrected and diverters were installed where the roof ended to the stucco. 2.5 galvanized wire lath was installed. Scratch and brown coats were applied.
