The PuroClean Emergency Services team arrived on scene to find a broken pipe had flooded a downstairs den, bedroom, bathroom and garage. The broken pipe had been leaking large amounts of water for several weeks. Our team extracted all water, removed affected building materials (due to long exposure to water) and set drying equipment to bring remaining structure to dry standard. In addition, mold remediation services were performed due to mold growth in the garage.

The busted pipe caused water damage to the kitchen, breakfast room and living area as well as the laundry room and garage below. The home also had numerous contents which our team safely moved into portable storage units brought on site. In addition, mold damage was found to the subfloor in the kitchen and was successfully remediated.

Major demolition of dry wall was required as mold growth had reached the actual framing of the basement. Our team successfully removed all mold, sanitized all building materials and applied a sealant to protect the structure from any potential future mold growth. In addition, our team combated a very musty odor smell and provided trash removal services to a large amount of trash in the garage.

Our moving team provided services to inventory, pack and move out all furniture and contents in the home to our warehouse. There, everything was cleaned, smoke odor eliminated and stored until the home was fully renovated.

The water spilled caused ceilings to crash in on two second story units damaging several rooms in each apartment. Further, water spilled to two more units on the first floor of the complex. PuroClean was able to respond quickly, extract all water and clean all ceiling damage including large amounts of wet insulation. Drying equipment was set and brought to dry standard conditions within the 3 day industry standard.

Although the pipe break occurred on a early Saturday morning, we did everything in our power to get in and out of the customers home as quickly and diligently as possible to ensure their weekend could still be enjoyed.
