Not much of a review. After a week waiting to hear from them for estimate purposes they must be too busy to pick up the telephone and call, or even send an email. I obtained this contractor from the Porch.com website. It's a piss-poor lack of response, isn't it?

I actually had several projects which were long over due. The main one was the installation of a double paned French door leading to the deck. It was installed to perfection. Perfect fit. The other jobs were ceiling and wall repairs due to water leaks. All were repaired, painted and ceiling was stippled to match the original pattern. The work was excellent. , I can not express the comfort I felt having these contractors in my home. They were patient to listen to my concerns and did exactly as I asked. Very respectful to me and my home. Each day, the area around the work was cleared. Upon finishing the work, I did not have one tiny morsel of anything to clean up. Excellent work, excellent customer service and excellent quality. I would have paid more...their prices are great Thank you Kristoffer and Sean for a job well done.

PROS: RU has been very pleasant to work with. They are very considerate of your home and the disruption that any project can have. They kept the work area organized and safe. They cleaned up each evening before leaving. The finished product is beautiful and we are very happy with it. we are already planning for more updates in our home. Opportunities: Estimates could be more descriptive to include all materials required and note whether RU would be supplying or the home owner. The work took longer than expected but we did run into several unexpected roadblocks (which happens frequently with remodeling). There were many days when only one person was working on the job. Most days they arrived around 10am, took a lunch break and wrapped up by 5pm. An earlier start each day and more than one worker on the job every day would have kept the job closer to the original completion date.
