We removed pocket doors and installed roman columns, arched the overhead to rest on the columns,installed an isle of 1" thick 18" x18" marble across the room and under the columns, also installed columns between great room and kitchen area. We covered the existing brick fireplace with tile board, tiled up to the ceiling,crowned it into the existing crown molding, covered the foot in black granite,and installed an imported marble mantle that matched with the simulated marble wall tile,installed 2 black granite tiles in the wall above the mantle which gives the impression that the chariot statute is inset in the wall. We also painted the home,installed Jacobean wood flooring in the hall&master bedroom,and marble bathroom tile.
