Cory Harrison installed my bamboo flooring, but he did not allow enough room in his cuts to allow the flooring to expand properly with changes in humidity; therefore, the floors have buckled in numerous places. It buckled so badly in front of my front door that I could no longer use the front door and I had to remove it, saw it down and reinstall the door. He also removed my old dishwasher and did not close the pipe that ran from my kitchen sink to the dishwasher, so water leaked all over my kitchen floor. Cory consistently was difficult to get a hold of and to schedule work with; when I finally told him my concerns about his lack of communication and delays on the work he had been contracted to do, he told me to find someone else to fix my chimney, which is the main job that I needed done in the first place. He then told me that I needed to "give him a reason" and "convince him to come" out to do the work that he had been hired to do. Cory was paid in full for the work he did for me, although the work was deficient to say the least. He is not someone that I would recommend to anyone, particularly a woman.

his guy has lost our number, left windows on our porch when we were on vacation, in an area so we could not use our porch. Never called us back, we had to call him. I had to have my son's move the windows for me so we could use the porch when he didn't return my calls. . He finally gets me to back, tells me he was told to put the windows where they were left. Since we were on vacation and my husband assures me he did not tell them to leave the windows anywhere in particular, that was a lie. He finally calls back and makes a time to put them in . Today at 9:30 6/21/2018 . My husband and I spend all night taking down curtains and blinds moving furniture, rugs etc etc. My house is a mess. . I had to reschedule get together for tomorrow because he told me it may take two days . And he doesn't call or even show up!! Or even answer is phone! What kind of service is this? AWFUL!

Had a roofing emergency during a high winds/no rain storm blasting thru Blowing Rock last Monday night. Metal roof was flapping in the high gusts. I literally went on line at 5:00am, was responded to on line very quickly, and had a phone call from Harrison Maintenance before 8:00am! They were on site by 9:30, and even with needing another ladder to access the problem spot, they were done before 11:30 am!! Great guys, very professional, and reasonable $, considering the nature of the emergency, and my short window of time to get it fixed before I departed. I will keep using these guys, and will have their card available for guests to call should they need assistance while staying. Thanks Cory!!!

Recently had my bathroom completely redone--new shower stall, tiling, bamboo floor, and associated plumbing. One friend who is going to build a home said "I want my bathroom to look as nice as this one". What I like about Harrison is the fact that they can do it all. He has handled jobs ranging from changing locks to installing custom windows to remodeling my bathroom. I like knowing I can call one person who will do a good job with any home repair I need.
