Carisa Mahnken Design Guild is a full service interior design/build firm specializing in historic and unique spaces. Carisa founded CMDG in 1998, trading her Wall Street career for something she found far more rewarding—helping homeowners create inspired spaces that transform what home means to them. Since then, the Guild has expanded to include all manner of high-end residential design projects and a group of talented artisans and tradespeople. The Guild approach allows us to collaborate to create truly customized designs—from old school plaster details to custom furniture and upholstery created in our workrooms, the mark of the hand shows throughout our work. We are known for our use of antiques and vintage building materials to bring authenticity to a space. For us, it’s not about replicating a particular look or following a trend, but helping you feel connected and inspired while reflecting your own personal style.
