This place is as good as it gets. Abbey and Jeremy were so communicative during the whole process and my floors look incredible. The workers are respectful, clean, and super competent. It's hard to find who to trust with remodeling, but I'm so happy I found them!

AVOID! WARNING! STOP! ATTENTION! Meyer skidmore is a poor flooring company. Hardwoods are tricky and sometimes, even often so things goes wrong. The mark of a quality flooring company is that they are willing to fix or correct mistakes made. Meyer skidmore does NOT make any efforts to correct mistakes made by Chris Meyer. Chris Meyer sanded and finished a select oak floor in boulder and did a terrible job. - Chris Meyer did not trowel fill the floor as we asked and paid for. - Chris Meyer did not trowel the floor even after being instructed to do so befor the finish was applied. - Chris Meyer left BLACK PENCIL MARKS on floor and finished over them. - Chris Meyer left much more junk on floor ( tack, pencil shavings, sand paper grit, dust and dirt) then I've ever seen on a professional floor. - Chris Meyer did not fill in nail holes. I see nail heads. I see nail holes from across the room and from the second floor.... gross. - Chris Meyer left small bubbles in the finish top coat so now it looks textured. - Chris Meyer used a dull scraper on corners and left a dull cupped finished product but did not sand them at all. - Chris Meyer slapped a roller full of pallmann finish on the just painted baseboards... it's so ugly it made me sick! It's on almost every baseboard in a lateral line. It's pathetic. - Chris Meyer damaged the transition/ backdoor threshold leaving a VERY NOTICEABLE BLACK GAP between floor and transition piece... he really had to try for this one... - Chris Meyer caused a lot of "dish out" of the grain and any previously filled holes in floor leaving a VERY ROUGH GRAINEY WOOD FLOOR and is just UGLY. Maybe Chris Meyers is getting too old for the riggers of the job or maybe he just didn't care enough to do even a half good job but I can tell you this, the job done on this home by Chris Meyer and Meyer Skidmore & co was just flat out a BAD JOB! So we called the office to set up a time to meet with the Bret (I think his name is Bret BUT, I'm not sure on his name, he has a large reddish beard) and the office secretary lady named Abbey V (Abbey seems uneducated in the finishing of wood floors and obnoxiously loud when confronted with the mistakes Chris Meyer made and overly defensive of poor workmanship, she offers no solutions but rather she will look upwards at the ceiling and tell you the floors are "perfect". overall I found her to be a very condescending, rude and uneducated person. Talking with abbey v. reminded me of the lady's you'd see on the jerry springer show as far as her attitude and understanding is concerned... so be aware of that) They came around lunch time and blew off every concern raised and offered ALOT of EXCUSES but NO SOLUTIONS.... seriously, like a TON OF EXCUSES... INCLUDING CHRIS MEYER'S OLD AGE!!... AND EYE SIGHT! They played games squinting and snickering to each other as they blew off the ugly mistakes and even scratched a hole in the floor to remove a large piece of sanding debris from under the finish... so now there is a hole in the finish as well.. They did nothing to fix nor did they offer any solutions for the VERY CLEAR ISSUES that are still present. The only way to erase PENCIL MARKS is so sand it off and since the marks are under all the finish they refuse to fix it. The floor can not be trowel filled like was ORIGINALLY REQUESTED, REQUIRED and AGREED TOO BEFORE PAYMENT WAS MADE! unless you sand off the finish and sealer...SO they refuse to fix that as well. We are talking about LESS THEN 350sqft of oak to resand and refinish (would take any other company 2 days to complete and move on and that's WITH dry times) BUT, Meyer Skidmore refuses to correct the mistakes made by Chris Meyer. The overall job done by Chris Meyer is that of a home owner DIY project gone wrong... but what's worse is that a professional company refuses spend the little time needed to fix the mistakes made and the massive ugly factor left by Chris Meyers. Instead they lie about the job being, and I quote Abbey V here "perfect" "it's perfect"... no ma'am, please get your eyes checked or put on your bifocals because, it's ugly. Just a bad job. AFTER REFUSING TO COMPLETE THE LAST HALF OF THE JOB and REFUSING TO REMEDY THE MISTAKES OF CHRIS MEYER the secretary ABBEY V. SENT A DEMAND LETTER STATING SHE PLANNED TO PLACE A LIEN ON THE HOME IF SHE DID NOT RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL $1000+.... YOU REFUSED TO FINISH THE JOB AND REFUSED TO DO A PRESENTABLE JOB.... sorry ma'am but that's just not how the law works. Please check out my YouTube video/s of the job done by Chris Meyer of Meyer Skidmore and the brush off/ refusal to finish the job as agreed by the bearded fella and the secretary Abbey V. The video will be under the title "the real Meyer Skidmore" and will show in detail why this company should be avoided like termites and floods as all three will ruin your floor. The rating they currently have is due to friends and employees yelp reviews... bad company!!!!!!!!!!

We used Meyer Skidmore to take up some carpeting and install hardwood floors and then strip all of our floors for re-staining and finishing. They did a beautiful job and in a very professional manner. They got behind schedule a day or so, but made it up with hard work and putting some extra labor on the job. We were very pleased.
