Triton Landscaping

In a word, our experience with this outfit has been horrible. I will say "shame on us" as when we had trouble getting them to call us back, that should have been our red flag to do some research. We are working with a pool company who recommended this company and based on the impression the pool company had made so far on the project, we felt Triton would be ok to work with -- how wrong we were -- we are contacting them Monday, 6/22 and asking for our deposit back so we can continue with another company -- one who WANTS our business. The worse part about all of this is that the guy we had been dealing with all this time -- the one who drew up beautiful 3-D pictures, out and out lied to our project manager saying how he had been calling us 6x a day and that we were being kept abreast of what was going on -- BullS___ How stupid can you be Bret as Drew was thinking that something didn't add up when we've been calling him because we can't get a hold of Triton aka Bret. We'll see how this goes -- please, please, don't use this company -- you'll be sorry.

I would not hire Triton Landscaping or Ben Lesnak or John DeMarco. While they may seem like decent people, they are not. The service and deliverables are horrible. Here's what will happen. They will show you a great rendering (see images). They will provide you with a fairly expensive budget, but this is a mirage. As you can see from the renderings the plan was nice but the images are what I actually received. As you can see there are dead plants, tons of weeds, tons of roots and nothing resembling the rendering and proposal. My bid included the removal of all old existing plants and shrubs. We pulled out at least 5 major roots after the work was done. Weeds - we paid extra for weed removal and I now have more weeds than before. The worst part was the design and plants used. Triton Landscaping claims to have their own nursery, which supposedly saves you money when all they do is give you low-end plants that don't sell. The plants and shrubs I got could have been purchased at home depot. I think the images speak for themselves but I've already paid extra to another landscaper to repair some of this mess and will have to do another round this spring. Do not hire triton landscaping. They are dishonest and are horrible at landscape design.
