Allen Road School | Oct 2019 | Complete tear off of coal tar pitch. Spray the deck with Cav Grip 2. Install vapor barrier with sheetrock screwed down on top. Multiple layers of tapered insulation that makes the water flow to the drains is foamed down with an added sheetrock layer on the top for fireproofing. Then we foam down the Carlisle TPO membrane. The seams and penetrations are heat welded with either a robot or a hand welder. This was just one of many commercial roofs I've done. I've been doing commercial Roofing for 20 years on and off. I've seen every type of system. Rubber, TPO, PVC, Torch Down Shingles, ect. | $2m | North Syracuse, NY

I fully adhered .45 reinforced rubber, installed russ strip in the change of direction and went up the wall and used termination bar which was caulked at the top and then I installed a counter flashing. | $8k | Cortland, NY

Newark High School | Jul 2019 | Complete tear off of the old rubber membrane. Then Cav-Drip2 for the vapor barrier to stick to. Then multiple layers of all different sizes of tapered insulation topped with sheetrock all foam downed, (This is the newest technology that replaces that old hot tar. The hot tar has been phased out) We use bonding adhesive to glue down the rubber, which was Firestone 0.60 reinforced. Also in the pics you can see the penetrations, the units and how they need to be flashed correctly. | $2 | Newark, NY |
