I have used Huff and Sons Electric twice, and I am about to call them for a third time. They've done everything from replacing old outlets and hanging electrical fixtures to addressing fuses that kept blowing. The purpose of any job is to not only do the work but do it efficiently and cost effectively. Having paid for people to hang holiday lights for more than 10 years- they are the most expensive, slowest and least efficient that I have had. They charged nearly $200/hr based on their statements that they could do the job efficiently. The job was discussed in detail and I was told that they could provide the services within a reasonable time. They didn't Only when the job was started did it become apparent that the workers appear to have never done the job before. The workmen were not comfortable on roofs which is not a good trait for people who hang holiday lights from a house and added to the job time. Despite having discussed the time expectations prior to starting, they first offered a bill that was for twice the time as discussed- when told that was unacceptable, they agreed to cut the cost somewhat but still wanted to paid more than 50% time than anyone else. No explanation for the overrun was offered and when told the time was unreasonable, they merely replied that it was reasonable. They have still offered no explanation why their workers took twice as long to perform the job. Moreover, the workers mis-explained a base fee as relating to the first hour work until the work was done then it was added on-top of all of the charges. What was discussed as roughly $500 job became more than $1100 bill. Since the job merely involved hanging holiday lights, I have no idea how they are as electricians, however, despite holding themselves out for this job, they couldn't do it cost effectively and should not be used.

Called Thomas out to a very complicated electronic control issue we had while working on a $30k fancy gas fireplace in a hotel lobby. We had tried everything including a few other electricians. Thomas just happened to be down the road and stopped by to fix it. He made us look like rockstars and fixed the problem without an issue. I highly recommend Thomas and his team to anyone. Thank you!
