The master bathroom in this home was very outdated with cedar tongue and groove boards on the walls and ceiling and terra cotta colored tiles on the floor. It was dark and felt like a large sauna with all the cedar. Blue River Contracting performed a full tear out down to the studs, and renovated the bathroom into a dream space for the homeowners. Walls and ceiling were drywalled and textured, the fiberglass tub surround was replaced with a custom tiled enclosure with storage niche and frameless sliding glass door. A 4 piece custom vanity was installed, as well as a storage cabinet above the toilet. New floor tile was installed along with knotty alder trim and faux finished doors to match the mahogany wood throughout.

After a pipe burst and the basement flooded, the homeowners filed an insurance claim to have the damaged carpet, drywall and bar cabinets removed and replaced. A remediation company took care of waste disposal, drying and mold prevention. Blue River Contracting was hired to replace and rebuild everything. The homeowners decided to replace the carpet with tile and to paint all the white trim and doors a dark brown color.

Blue River Contracting was hired to turn a 2 dimensional deck design (provided by the landscaping architect) into reality. The design altered the existing 14' x 20' rectangular deck by adding a curved corner, a curved landing deck, and several curved steps down from the landing.
