I found Oneal Electric Group when I Googled heater/ exhaust installation for Decatur, TX. They had the highest rating on HomeAdvisor.com. When I called on Friday at noon , a lady answered “Hello”. I was expecting a professional business answer. I had to ask if I had dialed the correct number. (They have no website). She told me that I had, took my information and told me the technician would be arrive at my house between 3-5pm on Monday. Then it was a NO CALL, NO SHOW. I called at 5pm to check, and went straight to VM. I left a message. It was not returned. I called again at 6pm, and went straight to VM. I left another message asking for a callback. It was not returned. At 7pm, I called again, and did not leave a message. The next morning, I called at 9:30am. I left another message to reschedule. No call back. At 4pm, on my way home, I called one last time… instead of answering the phone, I received a text that said “I’m on the way”. An hour later, NO CALL, NO SHOW. I texted him back, and no response. I called him, and went straight to VM. I wanted a bid from this contractor because they had the highest review on HomeAdvisor. Clearly that is a burden they cannot handle. As of this writing… the only contact I have had was the original phone call that was answered (they never answered again)… and the 1 text message that said “On my way”, and didn’t show up. I will not get back the hours I waited for these people to ignore me! If you can get them to do your work, they might be the best in town… however, I feel how you do anything is how you do EVERYTHING. No calls, No shows, Unreliable and Untrustworthy… You WILL NOT get my business, and if you are reading this… I suggest they don’t get yours either!
