they came with no tools, quoted 4 different prices. supervisor came and left me with two handymen. NOT CONTRACTORS , FRUAD

Overall, I am extremely disappointed that this company did not deliver at all on our agreement. Now I have to move into an unfinished unit, fight for a refund and find a new contractor to fix and complete the work Dillon and his team did not. On March 9th, 2020, I submitted my deposit for basic interior painting, baseboard touch-ups and to have a small area of flooring replaced. (I should have run when he asked for 100% payment before work even began, but after a conversation, I moved forward with a 50% deposit). 9 days and $4k later, the work is NOWHERE NEAR DONE. Dillon talks a good game but did not complete any element of the work we had discussed. If nothing else, PLEASE VIEW THE ATTACHED PHOTOS so that you don't make the same mistake that I did. 3/9/2020 - Dillon stated work would begin March 10th. LIE, I visited my apartment every other day since I submitted my deposit and work did not begin until March 14th. 3/14/2020 - Dillon stated, in person, that he would have a team of 6 workers at 9 am each day moving forward. LIE, whenever I did see workers, there was usually 1 person. On one occasion, there were 3 workers and 2 cleaners. 3/16/2020 - Dillon assured me that his team was following the building rules. LIE, I later learned that my neighbors have complained that he and his team were disruptive late in the evening. Without my knowledge, Dillon and his team stayed past the work hours allowed to try to make up for the days they had wasted at the beginning of the project. 3/18/2020 - I was guaranteed that we would do a FINAL walkthrough at 8 pm. When Dillon arrived at 10:30 pm, he insisted the work was 90% complete. The paint is barely on the walls, some walls are the wrong color, sanding and plaster are subpar, doors are off of the hinges, outlet covers left in a box, baseboards not replaced, and 2 flush mount fixtures were damaged. I asked DJ Custom Contracting to exit my property on 3/19/2020 at nearly 11pm. Please view the attached photos so that you don't make the same mistake that I did.
