My company, Direct Plus, placed an order with ESS in January of 2015. We paid ESS in the amount of $ 2996.62 to order the front door for our customer. My customer contacted me in August of 2015, indicating that the supplier they attempted to pickup their door from, would not release the product to them because ESS owed that supplier money. After a lengthy battle with ESS, the situation ended up in binding arbitration thru the BBB of Indianapolis. ESS was ordered to produce the door we ordered within 30 days or face expulsion from the BBB. After being 2 weeks late with their delivery, ESS delivered a less expensive door that was NOT the door my customer originally ordered. At that point, the binding arbitration case was opened back up and on March 8th, 2016, ESS was ordered to refund my company in the amount of $2996.62 due by April 7th, 2016. As of the close of business today, ESS failed to deliver my refund check and is now in default of a binding arbitrator's ruling with the BBB. I will await ESS's revocation from the BBB.
