Joe Markusen's passion for building and design has been a part of his life from an early age. Growing up in a small town in North Dakota, Joe can remember taking on building projects with his family for as long as he's known how to swing a hammer. It was there where he not only learned how to build, but the importance of a hard work ethic and integrity. In 2004, Joe graduated from Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Spartan Hockey Team. He continued to play professionally, while simultaneously investing in real estate through flipping homes and renovating rental properties. During that time, Joe realized his love for the overall building project--from fine-tuning the design, to bringing that design to life. He decided it was time to 'hang up the skates' and started Blue Line Building Company. Joe and his talented group of contractors have completed numerous projects, both residential and commercial. He appreciates that each customer and project is unique, and enjoys guiding their vision to reality and seeing a successful final result.
