After the outstanding job Mr. Crenshaw did with our kitchen. We called again to address our garage. With a straight forward plan and understanding the changes we wanted to the new structure. Mr Crenshaw took to task and demolished the old garage and built the new structure with the same attention to detail he used with the kitchen project. Again, the finished project was exactly what we expected and hoped for. Sincerely, Ed Delphia

We called The Renaissance Group; Mr. Crenshaw, we discussed many options for the kitchen. While trying to agree on the final design took longer than expected(between the wife and I), Mr. Crenshaw was polite and tolerant of what we were wanting as well as his attention to detail to the project overall. The finished project was everything we imagined and planned for. Very well done! Sincerely, ED Delphia

SCOTT COMPOSITE DECK | May 2015 | We replaced an existing, water damaged, poorly constructed pressure treated deck with a new composite deck of approximately the same dimensions. The existing deck was so poorly constructed initially, the homeowners have had it "repaired" several times over the years. And of course those repairs weren't up to snuff either. Annndd of course once the deck was removed from the house, a 12" x 96" hole of rot & carpenter ant damage was found. We had to jack up the outside of the home & rebuild the outermost joist and the foundation plate. Once this was completed we could reattach the new deck framing. The initial plan called for a 3" wide step so the elder home owners could hold both rails because of their mobility issues. While we waited for the arrival date of the composite decking, I realized that if one person was coming down such a small staircase, no one would be able to go up. So I came up with the idea of making a twin 3' staircase, in essence creating a two lane road. | $9k | Cleveland, OH
FERARRO FLOORING | Apr 2015 | We were initially just supposed to remove the fireplace hearth, but as that progressed it quickly changed to a full removal. Once that was finished, we built out the existing wall to make up for strange interior wall construction. Once the messy part was done, it was finally time to remove the carpet & tile from the 1st floor to install new hardwood & ceramic tile. Of course a GIANT surprise was found after living room carpet was removed, a long wide hump. Once we removed the subfloor, we discovered that 3 of the floor joists had split & opened upward. Once repaired we were back in business. | $7k | Brunswick, OH
DELPHIA GARAGE | Mar 2015 | Mr. Delphia called us, again, to complete another project for him. Pretty straightforward, demo, reframing & closing it in. We took down a 24 x 24 x 6-8 shed roof garage & replaced it with a 24 x 24 x 10 garage. | $18k | Cleveland, OH
SAFKO NEW HOME REMODELS | Mar 2015 | Ms. Safko contacted us about installing a decorative tile backsplash in her kitchen. That quickly evolved into several projects in her newly constructed home to help with the clutter her FIVE boys were going to create. Because her boys range from 4th grade to High Schoolers, and all were involved in multiple sports, the main concern was shoe storage. We came up with a plan to created a "locker room" in the garage. Custom building the lockers was cost prohibitive, so with some quick thinking I retrofitted some pre-made pantry cabinets into lockers. I attached a sheet of 3/4 plywood to the garage wall before attaching the lockers for support of hooks for their bags/equipment. From there, we built a 8' bench with a shoe shelf as a last stop before entering the house. The final build was a mudroom just inside the door above the shoe bench. Again, custom building this area would have been expensive, so I went back to the idea of using premade shelving for the uppers & actually did find someone to custom build the sitting bench. From there we moved into the office to create a business center. On the way out the door, we threw in some interior decorating for Ms. Safko for being so patient during the extended periods of waiting for special order items. | $6k | Brunswick, OH
Kubala 1st floor renovation | Jan 2014 | Removal of several walls to create a 1st floor open concept, including redesign & remodel of Kitchen area, opening up Dining & Sun rooms with cosmetic remodeling also. | $35k | Garfield Hts, OH
Festa Master Bathroom | Jul 2013 | We took out the closet that was separating the Master Bedroom and another smaller Bedroom. Doing this gave us an extra 60 square feet to add to the new Bathroom. With the extra footage, it allowed us to redesign the layout for a much more comfortable Master Bathroom. | $35k | Cleveland, OH
Burt custom woodwork | Jun 2013 | Installation of custom woodwork throughout the home. | $10k | Cleveland, OH
LIBERTY BELL CONDOS | Oct 2015 | We were recommended to the property management company of The Liberty Bell Condo Assoc. by a past client whose basement we had done some flooding repairs to. The property itself has been under a yearlong basement waterproofing project to 10 of it's 50 units, with the next phase to begin in spring. A lot of the work we've done has already been done once, if not twice to some of the projects. *ROOFLINE: Being the third Contractor involved, to try & fix the problem, we just stripped it to the deck. And sure enough an original construction mistake was found. *FENCES: Origionally we were asked to rebuild one fence, that had already been done twice in as many years, after the installation of the new concrete patio. We presented the management company with a new updated construction method, and promptly received the contract to rebuild 20 other fences as soon as the weather breaks in 2016. DOORS: We also received the job of replacing 17 door thresholds & metal fascia rewrapping. | $27k | Brookpark, OH
TINA H C BATHROOM UPDATE | Sep 2015 | We changed the mirror, light, toilet, flooring, tub & surround, existing tile walls & shower plumbing. We had to remove the old style walls, you know, 1/2" of drywall + 1/2" plaster. Made for quite heavy debris. Remove an Art Deco style cast iron tub. With no room to swing a sledge, we were forced to cut it with a grinder, because we were not to damage/remove any of the existing tile. And it was all uphill from there. Vanity mirror doesn't fit, the new light has to be moved, again,,the bathtub drain system has to be assembled backwards. AND the 2 cats were trying slowly to kill me. All this being said, "almost" on time and on budget seems like a good outcome. | $3k | Cleveland, OH |
